Children Of Temple Earth "Honoring The Past, Empowering Our Selves and Preparing For The Future" Children Of Temple Earth ( COTE ) is a network of Wiccans and Pagans in the Northern Nevada area. We are not a coven, nor do we adhere to any one tradition. COTE is a not- for-profit group organized to promote communications, understanding, and goodwill between Wiccan and Pagans of our community. Our goal is to build a spiritual network based on love and reverence for nature. We honor all Gods and Goddesses as valid to those who revere them. We strive to promote a meeting space for all seeking others of a like mind. Diversity is welcomed. Each member is expected to harm none while on the path they have chosen. We promote respect for our Mother Earth and all her children, environmental concerns and a striving for balance in our lives. Our 501c3 State status may be checked here; http://www.nvsos.gov and type Children Of Temple Earth in the entity search box. You may also check the status of our Licensed Clergy at this the above web page. Why Join COTE??? 1.Support of Fellow Pagans 2.Fellowship and Learning 3.Social and Spiritual Opportunities 4.Educational, Legal and Political Resources And, the most important of all is the fact that we come from many backgrounds and follow different paths- But we come together in mutual respect to Honor, Celebrate and Rejoice in our Community. All of our gatherings are Family Oriented and open to all ages and faiths.
Some of the assets that COTE contributes to the Community are; *Annual participation and sponsorship in the Northern Nevada Pagan Pride Day http://www.paganpridenevada.org/ *Proud to be an annual sponsor for " The Witches Voice " *A community " Meet & Greet ", a gathering for members of COTE and their families and friends to mingle, network and feast together. * Support for and within the Pagan and Non-Pagan Community. * An annual campout in August. *Food and clothing donations are given to various charities, organizations and shelters for humans and animals alike. * Sabbat rituals throughout the wheel of the year. * Participation in the annual Community Beltane campout. * Participation in the Annual Community Spring Fling. * Presenter and supporter of the 1st Annual Inner-Faith Forum at UNR
We also support local Pagan artists, store owners and organizations. Trader Blue is open for business!
John and I wanted to find a way to help support local artist, burner, and pagan communities in an effort to build connections, relationships, activities, and events. We also wanted to help support our local creative economy by promoting the numerous talents, products, and services so many of you have to offer. So we created www.traderblue.com!
Because we have just recently published the website, it is a little light on content... and thats where you come in! We know there are many of you who have artistic talents whether it is in the form of canvas, metal, wood, plant, or body/spirit, etc. We also know that many of you have items to sell, trade, barter or gift or perhaps even a small business to promote.
Please check out www.traderblue.com and help us support our local community!
PS: We are working on streamlining a few processes and making the site as user-friendly as possible. Please help us test our site by letting us know if you encounter any quirks or have any suggestions/comments!
Thank you for your support and we are looking forward to helping the community through www.traderblue.com
