                                     Children Of Temple Earth

"Honoring The Past, Empowering Our Selves and Preparing For The Future"

Children Of Temple Earth ( COTE )  is a network of Wiccans and Pagans in the Northern Nevada area. We are not a coven, nor do we adhere to any one tradition. COTE is a not- for-profit group organized to promote communications, understanding, and goodwill between Wiccan and Pagans of our community. Our goal is to build a spiritual network based on love and reverence for nature. We honor all Gods and Goddesses as valid to those who revere them. We strive to promote a meeting space for all seeking others of a like mind. Diversity is welcomed. Each member is expected to harm none while on the path they have chosen. We promote respect for our Mother Earth and all her children, environmental concerns and a striving for balance in our lives.

Our 501c3 State status may be checked here; http://www.nvsos.gov and type Children Of Temple Earth in the entity search box.

You may also check the status of our Licensed Clergy at this the above web page.

Trader Blue is open for business!

John and I wanted to find a way to help support local artist, burner, and pagan communities in an effort to build connections, relationships, activities, and events.  We also wanted to help support our local creative economy by promoting the numerous talents, products, and services so many of you have to offer.  So we created www.traderblue.com

Because we have just recently published the website, it is a little light on content... and thats where you come in!  We know there are many of you who have artistic talents whether it is in the form of canvas, metal, wood, plant, or body/spirit, etc.  We also know that many of you have items to sell, trade, barter or gift or perhaps even a small business to promote.
  •  It is FREE to list your arts/handcrafts (there is a 10% commission when your items sell).
  • There are 3 affordable monthly packages to list your services (such as mechanic, computer repair, babysitting, landscaping, herb/belly dancing class, etc.)
  • It is FREE to list in T's Trading Post and the Free/Gifting (Purple) sections.
Please check out www.traderblue.com and help us support our local community!

PS:  We are working on streamlining a few processes and making the site as user-friendly as possible.  Please help us test our site by letting us know if you encounter any quirks or have any suggestions/comments!

Thank you for your support and we are looking forward to helping the community through www.traderblue.com

COTE has many ideas for more participation and events in the Community, we are currently working on setting up a Food and Item assistance program for those in need throughout the year.

Mark Twain, a very wise man, once said "It Is Better To Give Than Receive..."
   Ever thought Why?
   Ever asked yourself;
   How can this be?
    Here is an answer...
You see, when a person gives/provides, for/to other persons, a
necessity, basics like food, clothing, and/or other household or personal need. They share the true rewards of life.
One gives material things and in return, at that very moment
receives in themselves, the reward for supplying the other with their
    needs.
Try it, so you can understand.

Annual dues are from January 1 to December 31 and are necessary for COTE to be able to sponsor events throughout the Northern Nevada Community.b Dues are as followed:
Membership Donations of $12.00 per year per person are asked for. Family donations are $24.00/yr.
If you are interested in becoming a member of COTE, please contact NNv_COTE@sbcglobal.net for an application.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they are slow to lose patience with me.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they take the circumstances of my life and use them in a constructive way for my growth.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they do not treat me as an object to be possessed and manipulated.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they have no need to impress me with how great and powerful they are because they are the Goddess and God. Nor do they belittle me as their child in order to show me how important they are.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they do not send down their wrath on every little mistake I make, of which there are many.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they do not keep score of all my "sins" and then beat me over the head with them whenever they get the chance.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they are deeply grieved when I do not walk in the ways that please them because they see as evidence that I do not trust them and love them as I should.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they rejoice when I experience their power and strength and stand up under the pressures of life for their name's sake.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they keep patiently working with me even when I feel like giving up and cannot see why they do not give up on me too.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they keep on trusting me when at times I do not trust myself.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they never say that there is no hope for me, instead, they patiently work with me, and love me in such a way that it is hard for me to understand the depth of their love for me.

Because the Goddess and God love me, they NEVER forsake me, even though many of my friends might.

As you become secure in the love of the Goddess and God, you will discover that you need not surrender your self-worth to the opinions and judgments of others.

Shed, Release ( Chant )

Whatever It Takes, Whoever You Are. Heal The Wounds, Erase The Scars
Allow Your Hearts To Be Wide Open. Shed, Release, Return Unbroken
How Many Times Have You Gone Within. Only To Find Yourself There Again
Shed, Release, Return Unbroken. Know Thyself This Truth Be Spoken
Shed, Release, Return Unbroken. Know Thyself This Truth Be Spoken
